Sautéed Cabbage and Egg - Rice Alternative

A perfect blend of sautéed cabbage and fluffy eggs, seasoned for a simple yet delicious taste. Ideal for a light, healthy alternative to rice, ready to complement any dish.

Ingredients

  • 500g cabbage
  • 5 eggs
  • 50g red onion
  • 30g garlic
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp white pepper
  • 1 tbsp butter

Steps

  1. Shred the cabbage, mince the garlic and onion
  2. In a bowl mix the egg
  3. In a pan, add in the butter then sauté the onion and garlic.
  4. Once the garlic turns slightly brown add in the shredded cabbage. Continue cooking until cabbage is soft and slightly golden brown.
  5. Add in the egg and continue mixing so that the egg will separate.
  6. Season with salt and pepper. Enjoy with your favorite viand.
